>>Second Round Dormitory Placement Results

Dear Students,

Please click here to view dormitory room-type allocated to newly admitted students as well as the results of second round placement of students who enrolled in 2007 and earlier.

Computer-based placement in accordance with Regulations Concerning Acceptance to and Placement in the Campus Dormitories evaluated 616 applications in total, and 598 students were allocated a room type in campus dormitories. Placement statistics are as follows:

Those placed in their first preferences	54,63 %
Those placed in their second preferences	12.52 %
Those placed in their third preferences	18.54 %
Those placed in their fourth preferences	3.74 %
Those placed in a room-type not included in their preferences*	6.66 %
Those who could not be placed	2.93 %
Those remained in their previously allocated  room types	0.98 %

* Those who have the right to be placed, but failed to provide sufficient number of  room preference.

Dormitory I and II will be open on 8 September and EBI Dorm will be open on 13 September. Dormitory fees should be deposited in the bank accounts available at the address http://www.ncc.metu.edu.tr/clife/dormitory.php , not later than 16 September evening, in order to secure their places in campus dorms.

A further placement will be done in early October for students who are not placed in campus dorms or who wish to change their room type.
